Dr. Ahmad Deeb is an Imam, teacher, and community psychologist whose work bridges classical Islamic scholarship, mental health, and community development. Raised in Orlando under the mentorship of his father, Shaykh Abdallah Deeb, he began serving Muslim communities at a young age. He holds a B.A. in Psychology, an M.A. in Islamic Studies and Leadership, and a PhD in Community Psychology.
Dr. Deeb is the co-founder of Pillars Seminary and Itqaan Institute, and his work focuses on Islamic education, loneliness, belonging, and rebuilding strong Muslim communities. His dissertation, Remosqued, studied loneliness and sense of community among Muslims in the United States, and his recent book, Staying Human, expands on this vision. He currently teaches in Damascus, offers remote pastoral counseling, consults with Khalil Center, and shares his work on Instagram and Substack at @imamdeeb.
